Minerals Technologies plans to build a manufacturing facility in Brookhaven, MS, for the production of specialty precipitated calcium carbonate, with start-up of the facility expected during the second quarter of 2000.
Minerals Technologies Inc., New York, plans to build a manufacturing facility in Brookhaven, MS, for the production of specialty precipitated calcium carbonate, with start-up of the facility expected during the second quarter of 2000. The plant, with a production capacity of 50,000 to 70,000 tons per year, will supply products for sealants, vinyl siding, rigid polyvinyl chloride and other end uses.
