Honeywell Sells Microtrac Business To Nikkiso Co.

PHOENIX - Honeywell Inc. announced the sale and transfer of the company's Microtrac business assets to Microtrac Inc., a newly formed unit of Nikkiso Co. Ltd. that began operation Jan. 1. Microtrac is a particle-size measurement-product business that originated from Leeds & Northrup Co. more than 22 years ago. The business's product line uses patented laser technology.

Nikkiso Co., based in Tokyo, is a manufacturer of industrial pumps and other equipment. Microtrac Inc. is based in Montgomeryville, PA, with a sales and service center in Clearwater, FL, and a manufacturing facility in York, PA.
