DuPont and Chemdex announced plans for the launch of Industria Solutions.
DuPont Co., Wilmington, DE, and Chemdex Corp., Mountain View, CA, announced plans for the launch of Industria Solutions Inc., a business-to-business e-commerce company that the companies said will streamline the procurement of industrial fluid-processing materials and equipment, such as pipes, valves, pumps, motors, and compressors. The business will allow companies involved in fluid-processing operations to purchase such materials through a single Internet marketplace, Industria Solutions representatives said.
