BASF AG, Ludwigshafen, Germany, said it will begin production in the first quarter at an isoindoline-pigment plant in Ludwigshafen that will produce high-performance organic yellow pigments. The plant, with an annual capacity of 1,200 metric tons, will replace an existing facility and will double the company's isoindoline-pigment production capabilities.
