Theme Set for ICE 2008
November 1, 2007
BLUE BELL, PA - In 2008, the
International Coatings Expo (ICE) will return to its permanent home and
every-other-year schedule in Chicago. ICE 2008 will take place at the Lakeside
Center, McCormick Place, Chicago, on October 15-17, 2008. The theme, Globally
Responsible Coatings - Getting There from Here, represents the need to go
beyond solutions to global regulatory challenges and create solutions for the
future – products that are sustainable, cost effective and highly marketable.
Participants from over 67 countries are expected to meet at ICE 2008.
A series of informative short courses will precede the Expo. Held on October 13 and 14, these courses will focus on topics of interest to the many segments of the industry involved in coatings manufacturing and application.
In addition, ICE attendees will have the opportunity to register for FutureCoat!, a technical conference held in conjunction with ICE, October 15–17.
The FSCT is seeking technical papers and student posters to be considered for presentation at FutureCoat! Those interested in submitting a paper are requested to provide a 250-word (maximum) abstract by February 22, 2008, along with contact information (author name(s), company, address, phone, fax and e-mail address) to Jennifer Majchrzak at jenniferm@coatingstech.org.
