WACKER POLYMERS to Raise Prices

MUNICH, Germany/ALLENTOWN, PA – WACKER POLYMERS is raising its prices in Europe for VINNAPAS® and VINNOL® vinyl acetate- and acrylate-based dispersions. Effective January 15, 2011, prices for vinyl acetate-based dispersions will be increased by up to EUR 40 per ton and by up to EUR 60 for acrylate-based dispersions, or as customer contracts allow.
Effective January 15, 2011, WACKER POLYMERS will implement a price increase of $0.04 per wet pound on prices for vinyl acetate ethylene copolymer and ethylene vinyl chloride copolymer dispersion products sold in the Americas.
