Lonza Microbial Control Announces Price Increase

ATLANTA - Lonza Microbial Control announced that due to dramatic price increases of the key raw material iodine the company will be implementing a global 10-40 percent price increase, depending on the formulation, for Omacide™ biocide products based on 3-iodo-2-propynyl-n-butylcarbamate (IPBC). These products are typically used in metalworking fluids and coatings. The price increase is for both list and off-list prices and is effective on or before February 1, 2012, or as contracts allow.
