Owners of Orion Engineered Carbons Explore IPO Option

FRANKFURT, Germany – Orion Engineered Carbons’ principal owners, private-equity firms Rhône Group and Triton Advisors, are exploring the potential for an initial public offering (IPO) of stock of the company.

Headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany, Orion Engineered Carbons is a global supplier of carbon black, including technologically advanced specialty carbon blacks.

The owners anticipate readiness for an IPO in 2014.
