Dr. Larry Gibson is the Director of Research and Development for the Industrial and Specialty Products division at U.S. Silica. He has over ten years of experience in the building materials, mining, and chemicals industries, and currently leads a team of experienced scientists focused on developing novel performance-enhancing specialty products from a wide range of industrial minerals. Larry received a Ph.D. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, and a B.S. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University.
