Smriti has been with BYK USA since 2018 and is currently technical service manager, focusing on general industrial coatings. She has her masters in Polymer and Organic chemistry and started her career as a research chemist in resin synthesis. Later she moved on to the formulation side of coatings and got opportunities to formulate different types of coatings including wood, aerospace and GI coatings. At BYK, she is actively involved with North American customers in the GI, powder, can and coil segments, and works as a technical support to the customers. She is also involved closely with their technical service lab in Wallingford, CT.
