Nouvex is a patented antimicrobial technology discovered at Purdue University. Nouvex is currently being devloped for commercialization by Poly Group LLC under a World-wide exclusive licensing agreement with Purdue Research Foundation. Nouvex is a Polymeric technology that is compatible with a wide range of substrates. The addition of Nouvex renders substrates antimicrobial. The antimicrobial nature of the Nouvex treated substrate is persistent, enabling materials to retain its antimicrobial activity for an extended time. Persistency in combination with Nouvex’s low toxicity and significant biocompatibility allows Nouvex to be used in a variety products. Nouvex has been proven to eliminate an established Biofilm.
Nouvex is supplied as a Master Batch for ease of integration. Poly Group LLC has demonstrated the efficacy of Nouvex technology in numerous substrates, including textiles, coatings, wall coverings, plastics and powder coatings. It has significant advantages over other antimicrobials in terms of efficacy and versatility. Nouvex technology is scalable and can be customized for various applications. Poly Group LLC has successfully completed the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recommended testing protocol. It is currently registered as a materials preservative; EPA Reg No. 91413-2.
