David A. Cocuzzi received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry in 1974. He has worked in the area of industrial coatings for his entire career, with most of that time spent formulating coil coatings. He retired from AkzoNobel in 2015, where served in a variety of technical management roles, including Global R&D Director, Coil Coatings. He is a past Chair of ASTM committee D01.53 Coil Coated Metals and the Cool Roof Rating Council. Cocuzzi now serves as the Technical Director of the National Coil Coating Association, as well as Vice-President, The ChemQuest Group, Inc.
