ACC Reports on Socio-Economic Impact of the Polyurethanes Industry on U.S. Economy

ARLINGTON, VA – An analysis summarizing the importance of the polyurethanes industry to the U.S. economy was released by The Center for the Polyurethanes Industry of the American Chemistry Council (ACC), formerly Alliance for the Polyurethanes Industry. The 18-page report focuses on diisocyanates and associated polyols based on research conducted during the December 2006 through January 2007 period by Moore Economics. The analysis covers the entire value chain – from suppliers of chemical raw materials to their direct customers and then to the final producers of consumer and industrial goods.
