KIMBALL, MI - Allied PhotoChemical Inc., based in Kimball, MI, has established an Engineering Co-Op Program with Kettering University. The program was initiated in January 2009 and has proven to be highly successful.

 

All Engineering Co-Op students are freshman specializing in Chemical Engineering. The program alternates between work and school every three months, which is enough time for effective resource use and optimization. Typical activities include design of experiments, process design and optimization, and basic research and development activities.

 

The end result of the program is the development of long-term potential employees for Allied PhotoChemical that have extensive experience and knowledge in the UV industry.
