DUBLIN, OH – Ashland’s Specialty Polymers & Adhesives (SP&A) business recently installed additional equipment valued at more than $2 million to enhance service and capabilities for its printing, packaging and coatings product lines. SP&A is a business group of Ashland Performance Materials, a division of Ashland Inc. The equipment was installed in Ashland’s Columbus, OH, and Oak Creek, WI, facilities.

 

This investment marks a significant commitment to support current and future business growth and continues the company’s expansion of its SP&A business. Ashland has been actively growing its SP&A business through acquisition and new product development. It has integrated its purchase of the former Northwest Coatings business and recently closed on its purchase of the pressure-sensitive adhesives and atmospheric-emulsions businesses from Air Products and Chemicals, Inc.
