ASSE Announces 2007 NAOSH Week

The 2007 North American Occupational Safety and Health Week (NAOSH), sponsored by the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), will run from May 6-12. The purpose of NAOSH Week is to focus the attention of employers, employees and the general public on the importance of preventing injury and illness in the workplace and its positive affects on everyone's quality of life and a business's bottom line. Activities will take place throughout North America. The 2007 theme will be transportation safety - in vehicles, planes, commercial vehicles and other modes of transportation.
