Atlas Material Testing Technology has announced the formation of a weathering Center of Excellence at Atlas’ world headquarters in Chicago.
The new facility is expected to be completed by the end of the third quarter 2008. Atlas will continue to provide ISO 17025 accredited service in this new laboratory. Xenon, metal halide, carbon-arc and fluorescent testing, along with its full array of evaluation services (gloss, color, visual assessments, etc.), will be provided.
CHICAGO – Atlas Material Testing Technology has announced the formation of a weathering Center of Excellence at Atlas’ world headquarters in Chicago. In support of the new center, the current Atlas accelerated weathering laboratory in Miami, FL, will be relocated to Chicago. The facility will provide local support in test-program development, on-site engineering for instrument enhancements and on-site technical service. Additionally, the increased laboratory footprint will provide much-needed space for the company’s continued growth.
