MIAMI - Atlas Weathering Services Group, a division of Atlas Material Testing Technology LLC, is expanding its services by creating the world's largest and most advanced global benchmark weathering-testing facility in Miami. The expansion is made possible by the purchase of 18 acres of land in close proximity to the current South Florida Test Service (SFTS) Everglades site, located 35 miles southwest of Miami International Airport, a site widely acknowledged as the most unspoiled and protected exposure site in south Florida. By combining the existing SFTS Everglades site with the additional acreage, AWSG can now offer a single, consolidated weathering exposure center in Miami, bringing together the unique resources of both Florida facilities.
