ATOFINA Chemicals Inc., Philadelphia, said a 10% expansion of polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) resin production capacity at the company's Calvert City, KY, facility is scheduled for completion by early November. The company also is increasing PVDF resin capacity at Pierre Benite, France, with a first phase of the expansion expected to add 5 million pounds of production per year by mid-2002.
