BASF Corp., Southfield, MI, announced that BASF Pinturas S.A. de C.V., the business entity overseeing BASF's coatings operations in Mexico, has changed its name to BASF Coatings de Mexico S.A. de C.V. The action brings the business's corporate identity into line with the parent organization, BASF Coatings AG, based in Muenster, Germany. BASF Coatings de Mexico S.A. de C.V. will continue to operate at its headquarters and manufacturing site in Tultitlan, near Mexico City, the company said. BASF manufactures automotive and industrial coatings at Tultitlan for the North American market.
