Global Finishing Solutions, LLC, paint booth and finishing systems manufacturer, plans to open a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Monterrey, Mexico. This multi-million dollar investment reflects GFS's confidence in the expanding markets in the Americas. The company's existing Canadian plant located in Barrie, Ontario, will gradually transfer all manufacturing to Monterrey throughout 2005. The manufacturing center for industrial products will remain in Osseo, Wis. Monterrey was chosen over Asia due to its proximity to the company's major markets and key suppliers, while providing overall manufacturing advantages.

Coventry Coatings Corp. , Newburgh, N.Y., purchased a 24,000 ft2 building in the Town of Newburgh, a major crossroads in New York State's Orange County. The facility will become home to all of the company's production, warehouse, research and development, and backoffice operations. A manufacturer of paint and specialty coatings products for the automotive refinish, heavy equipment, industrial and other markets, the company anticipates it will realize significant operating efficiencies at the Newburgh facility, which is more modern and much larger than its existing home.
