TORONTO — Chemcraft International Inc. has swapped its Industrial Metal Coatings Division to Sico Inc. for Sico’s Industrial Wood Business and an undisclosed amount of cash. Chemcraft said the transaction provides it with new technologies in UV coatings, particularly in the areas of products for exterior use and 100% solids materials. Chemcraft’s Industrial Metal Group and Wood Coatings Group are based in Winston-Salem, NC, and Port Hope, Ontario. The company is a manufacturer of nitrocellulose lacquers, catalyzed lacquers, vinyl finishes, polyester coatings, polyurethanes, UV coatings, and waterborne finishes.
