MENTOR, OH - Chemsultants International has announced the addition of David A. McCann to the company as Director of Research and Development. In his position, McCann will be responsible for leading all aspects of technical consulting, research and development services that Chemsultants provides to clients in the adhesive, coatings and sealants industries. He will report directly to Gary Avalon, Chief Operating Officer.

 

McCann brings over 26 years of research and development, process engineering, quality assurance, and technical marketing experience to the company. He has held numerous technical support and managerial positions in the polymers, printing and pressure-sensitive industries. He brings with him a strong background in problem solving and new-product development.

 

McCann has worked for companies throughout the value chain including Spinnaker Coating, Omnova Solutions, Morgan Adhesives, Avery Dennison and Diamond Shamrock.
