MENTOR, Ohio - Chemsultants International has announced its 2006 schedule of accredited technical-training workshops for professionals in the specialty-coatings, adhesives, sealants and packaging industries. The workshops enable participants to earn certification as laboratory technicians in pressure-sensitive adhesive testing.
Several of the workshops represent partnerships between Chemsultants International and the Adhesive and Sealant Council (ASC) as well as the Pressure Sensitive Tape Council (PSTC). The 2006 programs are:
- Introduction to Pressure Sensitive Adhesive Technology. The courses will be held at Chemsultants' Mentor, Ohio-based training facility May 16-18 and Oct. 3-5. Also, in conjunction with Alexander Watson Associates, they will take place Feb. 20-21 in Los Angeles and Nov. 8-9 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
- Laboratory Technician Pressure Sensitive Adhesive Label Testing Certification. The course will be held April 18-19 and Aug. 22-23 at Chemsultants' Mentor facility.
- Introduction to Pressure Sensitive Tapes, PSTC Test Methods, and Testing Training Workshop. The courses will be held at the Mentor facility June 6-7 and Aug. 1-2.
- ASC Liquid Adhesives Workshop will be held in Mentor on May 23-24 and Sept. 19-20.
