The high-end visual chrome effect, part of Ampacet's new LiquidMetal™ line of colorants, enables designers to achieve the beauty of chrome without the corrosive chemical baths, multi-stage processing, safety and environmental concerns, and the high cost of fabricating and shipping associated with traditional metal chrome plating.

The dry colorant, which is simply added into the resin stream prior to the molding process, becomes part of the polymer matrix.
