MUTTENZ, Switzerland - Clariant has celebrated the inauguration of its new production plant for Licocene® polyolefin-based high-performance polymers in Frankfurt-Höchst, Germany. Speakers at the event included the site manager, Dr. Werner Brodt; the Frankfurt mayor, Petra Roth; Clariant CEO Jan Secher; and Dr. Uwe Nickel, head of Clariant’s Pigments & Additives Division. After a construction period of two years, the plant, which has an annual capacity of 20,000 tons, is starting operation on schedule.
