Chemcentral Corp., Bedford Park, IL, announced the launch of joint-venture chemical-distribution businesses in India and Southeast Asia. RishiChem Distributors Private Ltd., a joint-venture business with Rishiroop Holding Private Ltd. of India, will distribute specialty chemicals in India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and the United Arab Emirates. Rishiroop Group is a manufacturer and supplier of raw materials and related products to the paint, ink, rubber, adhesives, and plastics industries in South Asia. DoveChemCentral, a joint-venture business with Dovechem Holdings (m) SDN BHD, will distribute specialty chemicals in Singapore, Malaysia, China, Indonesia, Taiwan, The Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. The DoveChem Consortium of Singapore is a distributor and manufacturer of chemical products and related services.
