Johnson Polymer and Essential Industries announced the launch of a global technical and commercial alliance.

Johnson Polymer, Sturtevant, WI, and Essential Industries Inc., Merton, WI, announced the launch of a global technical and commercial alliance involving the companies’ polyurethane and acrylic resin chemistries for protective coatings. The agreement calls for Johnson Polymer to handle sales, marketing and customer support functions for existing Johnson Polymer and Essential Industries products and for new products developed as a result of the alliance. Management of the alliance will be headed by Dana Johansen of Johnson Polymer and Thomas Gitzlaff of Essential Industries. Johnson Polymer is a supplier of polymer products for the coatings, ink and adhesives industries. Essential Industries is a privately held supplier of polyurethane, acrylic and wax emulsions for coatings, ink, adhesives and other markets.
