Alberdingk Boley, Inc.: UC84 is a new polyurethane acrylic waterborne dispersion that is produced with ABI’s solvent-free dispersion process. The product has excellent chemical resistance, hardness and clarity, making it ideal for interior wood applications. It is a unique copolymer dispersion product designed to outperform leading commercial wood flooring products in a low-VOC formulation (150 g/L). Based on aliphatic polycarbonate polyurethane and polyacrylate chemistry, it provides the ability to meet environmental demands without sacrificing performance. In a 1K or a 2K formulation, UC84 provides superior abrasion, scuff and chemical resistance, as well as high gloss and clarity.
