CONCORD, NC - CPS Color Equipment Inc. has opened a new center in the United States. The new facility, called Americas Center, is located in Concord, NC. The 36,000-square-foot facility was built in 2004 and was formally occupied by National Tours, a truck graphics company. CPS Color, a leader in tinting solutions, secured the facility in January of 2008.

 

Currently, CPS Color Equipment dedicates 4,000 square feet of the Americas Center to office space, with the remainder used for assembly, warehouse and shipping/receiving. The Americas Center includes 42 permanent staff members and 22 contractors working in sales, marketing, administration, service and production. It has the capacity to produce over 4000 dispensers and shakers per year and has been designed to allow for future expansion as the business develops.

 

CPS Color serves the needs of all major paint manufacturers across the Americas as well as the region’s leading home centers and general merchandise retailers. The company’s net sales in North and South America were MEUR 26 in 2007. CPS Color provides a total color solution, offering advanced automatic tinting dispensers and related software along with mixing equipment and color merchandising collateral.

 

CPS Color has upgraded the America’s Center to a modern assembly plant and open office environment. In order to showcase its customers’ products, CPS Color has designed the plant facilities using its customers’ paints and colors in offices and warehouses throughout.
