MoreHORGEN, Switzerland -- Effective Aug. 15, 2009, or as contract terms allow, Dow Coating Materials will increase prices by 5-7 percent for its styrene acrylic binder and opaque polymer emulsion products in Europe.
The increases are necessitated by the continued pressure on margins experienced in the last few months, partly generated by the rising cost of some key raw materials. Customers interested in learning more about the price increase should contact their local Dow sales representative.
