DSM has announced it is opening new R&D facilities for powder coating resins in Shanghai, China.

ZWOLLE, the Netherlands- DSM has announced it is opening new R&D facilities for powder coating resins in Shanghai, China. The facilities will feature chemical synthesis as well as application testing. The laboratory will be operational as of January 2008.

The company also announced that the NeoResins+ expansion in Meppen, Germany, has been successfully completed. The new manufacturing unit will manufacture specialty polyurethane dispersions that go into high-end decorative professional and DIY trim paints, metal and plastic coatings, and parquet lacquers.
