Engelhard Corp. has introduced a series of mica-based special-effect pigments, Santa Fe™ colors, that express two distinct colors, each of which shifts with viewing angle. This two-quadrant color travel create a complex interplay of color, luster and dimensionality, making the series an economical alternative to multiquadrant effect pigments for coatings and plastics applications, the company reports.
