The most recent edition of Eurocoat was held in Barcelona, Spain, October 3-6, 2006. The International Convention Centre (CCIB) and the hotel AC hosted the congress, which included 370 exhibitors from 26 countries. This represented a 42% increase in the number of exhibitors compared to the first exhibition in Spain, and a 17% increase compared to the last one held in Spain in 2002. European companies again dominated the exhibition, although the number of exhibitors from the Americas and Asia has been rising steadily. Nearly 7,000 visitors attended the event, with 42% coming from countries outside of Europe.
