BERLIN - The European Coatings Conference, sponsored by Chamelic, will be held November 29-30, 2007. The topic for the conference is Easy-to-Clean/Self-Cleaning Coatings. Presentations will address various practical applications such as facades, sanitary surfaces, industrial and wood coatings and marine (anti-fouling) paints, as well as new material developments and new concepts in this field.

Sixteen international experts from industry and academia will deliver technical presentations on their recent research. Interactive focus workshops will address current technical issues and will provide additional opportunities for an exchange of information.

A Pre-Conference Tutorial, Understanding Easy-Cleanability, will be offered, giving participants an opportunity to update their knowledge on the chemistry and physics behind these effects.
