BLUE BELL, Pa. - At its spring meeting, the FSCT board of directors approved, at first reading, amendments to its bylaws that would change the basic structure of the organization's governing bodies. If these amended bylaws are approved at the FSCT board of directors fall meeting, the FSCT board would be greatly reduced in size and the executive committee would be eliminated. For the first time, the board would be directly elected by the membership. In accordance with this, FSCT has released information to its members on the procedures to be used to nominate persons for member-elected positions. Since only current FSCT members are eligible to nominate candidates and to vote in the election, those members whose membership is expiring are encouraged to renew as soon as possible.
