H.B. Fuller Co.’s Foster Products has acquired the mastics, adhesives, sealants and coatings business of Childers Products.

ST. PAUL — H.B. Fuller Co.’s Foster Products Corp. has acquired the mastics, adhesives, sealants and coatings business of Childers Products Co., based in Cleveland. The acquisition does not include the metals portion of the Childers business. Production will be shifted to Foster’s manufacturing facility in Houston, which will be expanded to meet increased capacity needs, the company said.

Foster Products is a major manufacturer of adhesives, mastics, sealants and coatings used in applications such as thermal insulation, sheet metal, indoor air quality, and asbestos abatement.
