International Specialty Products announced the sale of its filtration business to Hayward Industrial Products.

WAYNE, NJ — International Specialty Products Inc. (ISP) announced the sale of its filtration business to Hayward Industrial Products Inc., a subsidiary of Hayward Industries Inc., for $62 million. The business supplies bag-filtration equipment for processing liquids.

ISP President and CEO Sunil Kumar said the filters unit, while “extremely successful,” falls outside the company’s core specialty chemicals business.
