DES PLAINES, IL — J. Stilling Enterprises has acquired the Kenneth M. Rice Co., a manufacturer’s agent and distributor of raw materials and equipment for the paint and coatings, ink, and bulk-molding compound industries.
The Des Plaines, IL, company will continue to operate under the same name as a division of J. Stilling Enterprises, with a sales territory that includes portions of Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. James G. Stilling has been named president, and Kenneth Rice will retire at the end of the year after 45 years in the industry.
