North Brunswick, NJ - National Paint Industries has purchased the assets of Harco Chemical Coatings of Brooklyn, NY. Established in 1953, Harco manufactures clear finishes for the hardwood flooring industry and coatings for commercial and industrial applications.

National Paint Industries manufactures a broad line of specialty coatings for the marine, swimming pool, industrial maintenance and wood flooring markets, with nationwide distribution under the Garco, Bluewater, National and Wilson Imperial brand names.

Mike Schnurr, President of National, said of the purchase, “We are excited to have a company with Harco’s reputation for premium products and service join our growing family of coatings. This addition will not only contribute new distribution markets but will enhance our product offering to our existing customer base as well.”
