CLEVELAND -- Noveon Inc. has acquired certain water-based overprint-coatings technology and manufacturing assets from Flint Ink Corp. as part of Noveon’s strategy to expand its performance coatings graphic arts product lines.
The acquisition includes Flint Ink’s water-based formulations with the exception of MVTR, tobacco and security coatings. Flint Ink, based in Ann Arbor, MI, is the largest American-owned ink manufacturer and supplies inks used in printing and packaging applications worldwide.
