International Paint, LLC, has hired Jon Palo to serve as its new engineering sales manager over protective coatings sales in the western region of the U.S. A coatings-industry veteran of more than 15 years, Palo previously worked for two years as Western Regional Manager at KTA-Tator, Inc., an independent corrosion consulting, inspection and engineering firm. Prior to that, he worked throughout the southwest as an independent manufacturer’s representative for various high-performance coatings manufacturers. Palo earned a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a masters in business administration from Pepperdine University. He is a NACE Certified Coatings Inspector #6729 and active member of the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE), Society of Protective Coatings (SSPC) and American Water Works Association (AWWA).

In his new role, Palo will help direct the company’s long-term efforts for developing brand awareness and growth of International’s high-performance protective coatings sales in the industrial, oil and gas, petrochemical and commercial building markets throughout the western region.
