Ciba Specialty Chemicals offers a new photoinitiator, IRGACURE(r) 819 DW. Designed for radical polymerization of unsaturated resins on UV-light exposure, this photoinitiator is the first product of its kind for use in curing of pigmented polyurethane aqueous dispersion (PUD) systems. The material is suitable for daylight curing of PUD-based clearcoats and can be used in combination with light stabilizers. Circle No. 107
