BEIJING – Two days after announcing its donation of RMB 500,000 to the Red Cross Society of China for earthquake recovery efforts, PPG Industries, Pittsburgh, has announced that for each can of Master’s Mark paint, IVY paint and Seigneurie paint sold in May and June, the company will donate RMB 1 Yuan to aid in recovery efforts in the disaster area.

 

“Through this program, consumers can buy environmentally-sound paints to decorate and protect their homes and also help support restoration of infrastructure in the affected areas,” said Cathy Yan, General Manager, Government Affairs and Business Development, PPG/Asia Pacific. “As they decorate with PPG coatings, our company will help people and businesses in the disaster areas to rebuild.”
