BANGKOK, Thailand - A record number of visitors from 48 different countries attended the Asia Pacific Coatings Show 2007. Held July 6-8 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre in Thailand, the show included a conference, exhibitor business presentations and the 7th APCS Awards ceremony.

The conference was organized by the Coatings Research Institute (CoRI). Technical papers were presented on the theme, Novel Concepts and Materials Within Organic Coatings. Dr Marcel Piens from CoRI commented, “This year many papers showed concerns for environmental issues. Many papers also covered innovation in the fields of nanotechnology, UV, smart coatings and high-performance additives.”
