EXTON, PA - Sartomer Co. has acquired Rohm and Haas Co.'s line of Uvithane oligomers, a group of five urethane acrylate oligomers that includes two aromatic and three aliphatic products used in coatings, ink and adhesives. Sartomer said the acquisition will expand its range of monomer and oligomer products and blends.

Sartomer, a unit of the ATOFINA Chemicals business of Total Fina Elf Group, is a U.S.-based manufacturer of specialty chemicals including epoxy, urethane and specialty acrylated oligomers, photoinitiators, and other products.
