GPA-300 Graffiti Proofer® from SEI Chemical is the third generation of anti-graffiti products for industrial, Department of Transportation, municipal, building and construction, restoration, vehicular and consumer applications. Benefits reportedly include fast cure times and durability, as well as application ease and the ability to prevent paint, permanent markers, stickers, graffiti or any other markings from bonding to the dry film. According to the company, if the coating is ever damaged, it can be repaired simply by re-spraying the surface with relatively no preparation.
The non-stick coating is water-clear, UV stable, heat stable to over 500 degrees F and has extreme chemical resistance. The coating reportedly exceeds the performance requirements for ASTM 6578 Graffiti Resistance Test. It is environmentally-friendly, non-reactive, and volatile organic compound (VOC), Air Quality Management District (AQMD) and CARB-compliant. It can be applied as an aerosol for consumer applications, or it can be brushed or rolled on.
