Sinnett-Elpaco Coatings has acquired certain assets of Tioga Coatings.

ST. LOUIS — Sinnett-Elpaco Coatings Corp., St. Louis, has acquired certain assets of Tioga Coatings Corp., based in Rockford, IL. Sinnett-Elpaco said it has purchased Tioga’s accounts receivable, inventory, equipment, formulas and customer accounts. The company said it will transfer those assets to its St. Louis facility, with manufacturing of products for Tioga customers to begin immediately.

Tioga, a wholly owned subsidiary of Adco Global of North Carolina, formerly manufactured industrial coatings, including low-VOC products, high-temperature coatings and specialty automotive coatings. Sinnett-Elpaco President Michael Peter said Tioga’s product line will complement his company’s product portfolio, which includes two-component polyurethane coatings, water-based products and general OEM industrial finishes. Sinnett-Elpaco also is a distributor of Becker powder coatings.
