Steelscape has added a metallic coating line at its facility in Shreveport-Bossier, LA. The newest coating line at the company’s two-year-old plant will be capable of producing 260,000 tons of metallic coated products a year.
Steelscape has added a metallic coating line at its facility in Shreveport-Bossier, LA. The newest coating line at the company’s two-year-old plant began commercial production in January 2007 and will be capable of producing 260,000 tons of metallic coated products a year. The line is equipped with a “dual pot design,” meaning it can produce either TruZinc® (galvanized) or Z-NAL® (Galvalume®), and it is capable of running as fast as 600 fpm through the process section.
