ROTTERDAM, The Netherlands — Vopak Distribution Holdings UK Ltd. and Ellis & Everard announced an agreement under which Vopak will acquire Ellis & Everard in a deal valued at approximately £310 million ($443 million). Vopak Distribution Holdings is a unit of Royal Vopak, a major global chemical-distribution group based in The Netherlands.

Vopak’s subsidiaries include Van Waters & Rogers Inc., based in Kirkland, WA. Ellis & Everard, based in the United Kingdom, operates an international group of companies involved in sales and distribution of chemicals and polymers. In North America, Ellis & Everard’s business units include Mozel Inc., Pioneer Chemicals, Performance Polymers and the Truesdale Co.
